Description
BMW 320i Top Cabriolet BAUR 6 cylinders 122 HP from 1983 with:
- Leather interior
- Conditioned air
- Electric windows
- Alloy wheels
- Rigid roof rear roof roll bar (slips into the trunk)
- Central locking (alarm system to be reactivated)
- Mirror on the driver's side with electric control
- Front and rear fog lights
- Steering wheel and gear knob covered in leather (gear knob with internal light)
- Control panel above the rear-view mirror with descriptions in Italian
- Parking sensor (integrated in the plate holder, after market accessory dating back to the early 90s)
- Car radio with CD
This is an extremely rare vintage car (made by the Baur body shop in Stuttgart before BMW began production of the standard convertibles) with an in-line 6-cylinder engine, 122 HP, excellent habitability for 5 people (the body is identical to the 2-door models), exceptional driving flexibility: on youtube at the link --BLOCKED-- I published a video in which we see that in the third one starts from 30 km / h and you get there quietly at 140 km / h in perfect silence.
In 2007, the car obtained ASI Targa Oro certification despite the presence of the Landi Renzo natural gas plant as it was considered an after-market accessory of the period that still makes it usable even in the event of traffic blockage in addition to the fact that it is full with just over 10 euros spent (average distance around 280/300 km with a supply of 100 liters of methane). I also have a letter from the official BMW museum in Munich which states that it is a car of collector's interest.
Good condition of bodywork, interior and mechanics, mileage 278,000 km.
