Description
La Bianchina a car produced by Autobianchi from 1957 to 1969.
In 1965, in addition to a very slight restyling of the front frieze, redesigned dashboard with faux wood insert and some other revised interior detail, which affects all versions, the 4-seater sedan variants adopted the F-type engine, optimized in various components.
The 4-seater sedan: it was the last version to be introduced in the range in 1962. The logic of the 4-seater should be seen in the context of the Italian motorist's thought of the sixties, which considered family members as work cars. On the wave of these considerations, Autobianchi, along with an overview benefiting from the long wheelbase, includes the 4-seater sedan. Made as a closed version of the Cabriolet then a short wheelbase, to which was added a metal roof rather squared shapes to ensure a certain habitability rear, this version was most appreciated by the public thanks to the characteristic shape of the rear window, virtually vertical, and inserted in a protective pagodina, which guaranteed a greater habitability than that of the contemporary 500. It was produced until 1969.
