We propose the Autobianchi 500 Giardiniera, the version built by the Autobianchi of the Nuova 500 Giardiniera, whose assembly was transferred to the Desio house starting from 1966.
Compared to the original Fiat version, launched in 1960 and corresponding, in terms of layout, to the D version of the 500 sedan, there were no changes. Initially the car even kept the Fiat brand: in fact Autobianchi also assembled a part of the 500 D production on the lines of Bianchina (which derived from the small 500). In 1968, after the launch of the F-series of the 500, the Giardiniera assumed the Autobianchi brand. In addition to the specifications of the F, excluding changes to the doors that, unlike the sedan, will always remain open
