Description
MILITARY VEHICLE "Standard" UV Light Utility 4x2 (1945)
Multifunctional military vehicle produced from 1943 to the end of the 2nd World War, in two main versions: the "UV Light Utility" and the "EC Ambulance".
Both models were built starting from an original chassis produced by the manufacturer, subsequently bodied and set up by some local coachbuilders.
The total order amounted to a production of over 9,000 vehicles, commissioned by the British Army, Air Force, Navy and the Ministry of Supply.
The specimen for sale, one of the very few left in Europe almost eighty years after the end of the 2nd World War (most of which seem to be the prerogative of some collector and museum of historic vehicles in the United Kingdom and France) after the first English registration was imported and registered in 1957 in Italy.
Owned by a single owner up to the present day, the vehicle has never been deregistered from the Public Automobile Register, and has its original registration plate and booklet! Always kept in covered storage.
Restored chassis and bodywork. Engine redone.
Il Mezzo is FOR SALE today. INFO: 39.348.317.33.36
