Vespa bacchetta 1949 (annuncio scaduto)

This rare 1949 Vespa was sold new in Genoa, Italy, and then restored there in the 1990's. It was in one family since new, and comes with the original license plate and documentation of ownership in Genoa. After the restoration, it was purchased by an American (DeMartini) and his new Italian bride, who imported the Vespa to their new home in San Francisco. I purchased the Vespa in 2002 from them, and it is now in dry storage in New Jersey. It starts and runs well. Lights and horn work, and everything is in excellent condition, it looks right at home in a museum. This is a carefully done restoration of a very clean orginal 1949 model. To ship to Italy it takes aprox. 20 days at cost of about 400euros!
