I have owned this 1966 Lotus Cortina Mark 1, Series II (Airflow) BA74EE50027(EE code indicates that this was made in December 1965) . It has always been kept in dry storage. The extremely dry climate has preserved everything and it has no structural rust problems whatsoever.
This is a relatively well preserved car overall, with original paint and fading green flash.
Despite some signs of age it is still a fine example of a 50 year old Lotus Cortina. There are some very small blemishes where the paint has chipped a little and shows minor surface rust but nothing structural.
