Car endowed with Passport FIVA has participated in the thousand miles of the 2009. Car under good general conditions. Information give in ours possession, only, of this model, regularly currently admitted and circulating in Italy.
The History:
The Flight Hawk was a car of the range Hawk produced from the House auto American Studebaker in 1956.
The Flight Hawk was the model piis economic ¹ of the range. You/he/she was realized departing from the model coupis © and hardtop Champion, introduced in 1953. As for the other cars of the range also the Flight Hawk came endowed with a new chest, new calandra, new dashboard and panel of the tools. The motor what you/he/she was climbed on on this vehicle it was the six cylinders in line of the Champion and not the V8 that you/he/she instead was climbed on on the other whole Hawk. You power was of 101 hp (75 kWs) while the capacity was of 3 Ls (185.6in3). To this motor you/they could be coupled three different transmissions: a I change manual to three marches, a manual change to three rotten piiss ¹ overdrive or an automatic transmission, always to three marches, called Flight-or-Matic.
The principal body shop with which the Flight Hawk was produced was that of coupis © two doors with uppercuts or model 56G-C3. The cost of purchase it was of 1.986 dollars USA.
