BAIAI CHETAK
Model 150 classic
The Chetak and a model of scooter produced from the Indian motorcycle house Bajaj Auto. In 1961 the Piaggio tightened an accord with the Bajaj and beginning the production in India of the Wasp, models VNB, VBB and subsequently Sprint. The collaboration will conclude him in 1971 and since then the Bajaj I keep on commercializing the scooters produced just to name as Chetak, up to 2009 when I finish the production. The Chetak and been substantially unchanged for different years, profiting of few contemplated changes. Among these, l?implementation in the 1980 dell?electronic lighting CDI and the conversion dell?electric plant, from 6 to 12 volts, on the new version?Electronic 12V?. Subsequently they were assistant also the indicators of direction, of round form, climbed on to start on the carrozzaria. During the years, to the Chetak?normal? denominated then Chetak Classic (which preserved an aspect very similar to that of the Wasp of the seventies) you/he/she was placed side by side a new version, denominated Chetak Electronic. The name Chetak was taken back by the legendary horse of the warrior Indian Frog Pratap Sing.
