Raduno Maggiolino Show 2019

11 - 12 May 2019 Marina di Cecina (LI). Upon specific request of the Municipal Administration of Cecina, the local committees and of course the historical creator of the event Salvatore Sangiorgi, the Volkswagen Italy Club returns to propose and organize under the patronage of the Municipality of Cecina, of the ICA Livorno, of the AAVS (Association of Historic Vehicles Amateurs www.aavs.it), Passione Maggiolino, together with Bug Bus Net (Main Partner), the 19th edition of the Beetle Show, 28 years after the first Rally that always took place in the exhibition area located in Marina back in 1991!
The organizing committee together with our President Marzio Cavazzuti and Salvatore Sangiorgi, proposes a program traditionally linked to the celebration of important anniversaries related to history and the Volkswagen Beetle phenomenon in the world.
In particular, there are three golden goals that reach the 50th:
Abbey Road, Herbie, First Man on the Moon, Apollo 11, MOON LANDING. The launch of the 2019 Beetle started with the celebration of the Beatles and their legendary Abbey Road pedestrian crossing. Viale della Repubblica, in Cecina, turned into a photo shoot for a few minutes. The famous walk on the Beatles' strips in the famous Abbey Road was then reconstructed, remembered by all Beetle fans, due to the presence of a white Beetle.
The Beatles Cover Band "The Shuffle", will perform Saturday 11 May, in the context of the dinner show where usually all the crews participate by dancing and showing off the most conspicuous dress contest!
During the two days / event, restoration and spare parts specialists will exhibit their rarities in the large and renovated box area of ​​the I Pini “La Cecinella” park. Bolgheri and Monte Scudaio, with its famous wineries, will be the destinations for Sunday Cruising! Display and special awards of the 1969 Volkswagen range.
History, Passion, Culture as always the elements that will distinguish this event of the Volkswagen Italy Club, together with a lot of fun set in the Etruscan Coast, extraordinary sea and food and wine typical of Italian excellence.
The invitation to participate is extended to all air-cooled historic Volkswagen owners in all endings.
