The name of the car derives from one of the five bull breeds in Spain, and for the most part the names given to Bolognese cars are connected to the world of bullfights.
Compared to the Murciélago, the Gallardo is a more manoeuvrable car with a wider rear visibility. In practice the car stands as a sports car that can be driven more easily in city traffic and, in general, is easier to drive than the top car. The Gallardo engine is the Lamborghini V10; the power supplied by this engine is 500 bhp (367 kW) while the engine torque reaches 510 Nm.
