The frame of the F355 was built entirely of steel, the body was essentially based on the previous Ferrari 348. The engine, located in the central part of the car, was an 8-cylinder V of 90 of 3.5 liters of displacement with distribution at 5 valves per cylinder, capable of developing a maximum power of 380 hp at 8250 rpm, an increase compared to the 300 hp of the 348.
The F355 has flow flows in the car's underbody, completely enclosed, and around the passenger compartment.
The electroactuated & F1 & type gearbox, borrowed from the racing world, without a clutch pedal and controlled by 2 rocker arms placed behind the steering wheel for gear shifting and insertion, characteristic of the F1 single-seaters, as well as some controls placed on the central tunnel for selecting reverse and neutral.
MAINTENANCE: Very accurate, punctually carried out all routine checks at the parent company. 90% tires. Distribution replaced in 2017.
DEFECTS: nothing to highlight.
