La 508 Balilla stata una autovettura compatta progettata e sviluppata dalla Fiat nel 1932. Fu concepita per sostituire la Fiat 509 nonostante la produzione di tale modello fosse cessata nel 1929. Aveva un cambio a tre marce (portate poi a quattro nel 1934), quattro posti a sedere, e una velocit massima di 80 km/h. Veniva venduta a 10800 lire, l'equivalente di circa 8300 euro di oggi. Ne furono commercializate circa 113000. L'obiettivo era di unire le caratteristiche di un'auto di classe alta con un prezzo accessibile. La vettura fu presentata ad un salone dell'auto all'interno della Fiera di Milano del 1932.

The 508 Balilla was a compact car designed and developed by Fiat in 1932. It was born to replace the Fiat 509, although production of that model had ceased back in 1929. It had a three-speed transmission (increased to four in 1934), four seats, and had a top speed of about 50 mph (80 km/h). It was sold for 10,800 liras (today's euro 8,300). About 113,000 were produced. The goal was to incorporate some of the qualities of a high class automobile into a modestly priced vehicle. The car was introduced on 12 April 1932 at the Milan Fair site.



MAINTENANCE: 1936 Fiat Balilla four speed gearbox, ASI golden plate, body and upholstery professional restoration, totally renovated machanics, original plate and papers. Perfectly working car. The vehicle took part to important international meetings.
