The Z1 boasted a thorough aerodynamic study thanks to which it obtained for the time a remarkable cx of 0.36 with a closed roof and a cx of 0.43 with an open roof.
The secret of these data is in the underbody, the car has a flat bottom designed to channel the air into the exhaust silencer, which has been given an inverted wing shape, which through the final passage of the air between the silencer and the bumper rear (also specially designed) improves the ground effect.
On closer inspection, the Z1 seemed to come right from the future, thanks to the numerous innovative solutions adopted by the designers of the Monaco house, among these there is the futuristic system of side door openings that slide downwards (a detail that still manages to amaze), the bodywork in removable plastic materials that guaranteed lightness and maximum personalization of the car and more.
Only 8,000 specimens produced in the world.
