The first Giulia Built!
HISTORY.
The GIULIA TI was the first version of the 105 series presented to the public in 1962.
He kept the basic mechanical scheme of the Giulietta,
with front engine and gearbox and differentiates the rear axle.
The engine remained the same, increased to 1570 cc displacement, powered by a double body carburettor. The 5-speed gearbox with lever on the steering wheel (the cloche on the floor was an option) and drum brakes. The leap forward in the bodywork line was remarkable. Designed with the help of the wind tunnel, GIULIA TI had a CX 0.34. The muzzle was blunt and streamlined, with the rectangular chrome grille with four headlights and the truncated tail. To complete the line of the bodywork, a chrome profile on the hood, side flashers with a chrome whisker, the bumpers with the rostrums and a chrome frame around the rear lights. Inside, the single front seat for six-seat approval, the gray plastic dashboard with a horizontal speedometer and a small circular tachometer on the left.
